Thank you to all those that participated in our volunteer event today for our fall Service Learning Projects! Volunteers helped create educational materials for two Chicago-land high school autism classrooms. These two classrooms will be learning about the culture, history, and geography of Nepal and Nigeria. They will also have the opportunity to follow visual supports in order to enjoy the music of each country, cook local recipes, and make t-shirts with the countries' flag. In addition, the students in the classrooms will volunteer their time to create best practice educational materials to send to autism organizations in each country. The students at the organizations in Nepal and Nigeria will be taking photos and videos of life in their countries' to send to our Chicago-land classrooms.

The cost for each Service Learning Project is $350. This is made possible by our amazing volunteers - without them the cost would be several thousand dollars!
